Bored.
I am SOO infinitely bored. I know I'm known as a hip blogger - but I can't find anything to blog about. Maybe boredom? Maybe. Ha-ha. :) Anyway, it's only 1:31 PM and I'm SO bored. Just blogging at home and watching DVDs. Saddest Sunday ever :| Anyway, got to go now. Movie marathon over.

Food and Dogs
Hey....You can NOT believe how bored I am, but...
Yesterday me and my family went to Shangri-La and had lunch in Penang Hill (4th floor - yes, I remember) and it was so good! First we had winter melon soup that doesn't taste like melon at ALL (LOL) but it tastes sort of like the bird's nest soup in Gloria Maris...with egg whites. And then there was the seafood rice (a little ew, but ok) and the Haianese chicken (is that how you spell it?) with ginger and oyster sauce...And broccoli with mushrooms! I hate mushrooms, but oh well. Haha. It was good anyway. :)
My dogs are driving me crazy!! Seriously, since our maid left, I've had to feed them, walk them, and bathe them for about three weeks!! Urgh. I have no idea how to take care of a dog since our maid and my mom were usually the caretakers (LOL). So tired. So bored. So thirsty. Hey, I'll get a lemonade muna...Bye! :)

It is SO cold here, seriously, it's like 14 degrees out here! I know all you people who live in cold countries will say, "Seriously? That is so hot! Wait till you get to where I live, it's under three degrees there"...and blah blah blah. But I'm not used to this weather (Except when I'm in Baguio). So yeah. Put on your sweaters, people!!! I've had to wear socks to sleep for two months! TWO MONTHS! Sorry, overload.

Recipe for Onion a la creme
This recipe rocks...Got it from a book buried under all of my old clothes, I don't know where I got it :"> Anyway, this is really yummy...Try it! (Note: don't try to eat this if you're lactose intolerant, hate cream or have heart problems). ;-)
Ingredients:
Two chopped onions
One stick of butter
One cup of cream
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
Three cloves of garlic
Two slices of Quickmelt cheese
Two slices mozzarella cheese
Procedure: Slice onions lengthwise. Put half stick of butter in the frying pan until it melts. Pour diced onions into frying pan until it browns. Take out from pan. Spread out on baking tray. While spreading and mixing with butter, fry the garlic and add to pan. Sprinkle salt and pepper on baking pan. Now, lay Quickmelt cheese on top of onions. Then, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the Quickmelt. (Note: you can also use Kraft Cheddar or any kind of cheddar to replace your Quickmelt.) Place in the oven at about 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Once it is finished and the onions are browned and the cheese is melted, serve on a shallow serving pan. Serves 5. Enjoy! : )
Recipe for Liverspread sandwich
Another famous recipe...really yummy!! I added fresh WHOLE tomatoes in to the recipe too. Oh, and FYI, I made these in the microwave, but the recipe shown below might be a better alternative (baking the sandwiches) so it will be fresher :). Try it out. It's really good!
Ingredients:
One loaf French baguette
Three slices Quickmelt or cheddar cheese
Two tablespoons of liverspread (Note: This is easily found in most supermarkets!)
Three fresh slices of tomatoes
Two leaves of oregano
A fourth of a stick of butter
Two slices of skinless chicken
Procedure: Slice baguette in half. Butter the surface of the lower slice of bread. Place chicken on top of butter. Spoon liverspread on top of the chicken. Place tomatoes on top of liverspread. Sprinkle oregano on top of tomatoes. Add cheese. Bake at 150 degrees for ten minutes. Eat it up!! : )

Updates!!
Hey! I haven't posted in SUCH a long time! (Two weeks. It's a long time for me LOLZ). :) So, naturally, I have a LOT of updates. :P It's only 8 days until summer!!! Yayz!! I'm preparing for my annual Baguio summer trip (still playing 'travel agent' with my dad, finding the best hotel there!). The rest of my family is also planning to go to White Cove, or Canyon Cove, something like that >:D<.
Another great thing about summer? SLEEPING LATE!! And waking up early!! :)) I am totally psyched out for not waking up at 6:00 every day and having to cope with bad hair days!! I am officially going to rejuvenate my inner self and sleep, sleep, sleep!! :D
So, I guess that's it. I guess. I'll post more on summer excitement soon. :)

My parents are negotiating (yes, negotiating) about what hotel we're going to. I really want to go to Bloomfield (a nice hotel in Baguio that my friend said was nice!), and so does my dad (yay!!), so just cross your fingers, pepolz!!
I also want to visit Ifugao, Batanes, Bohol, Paris and Rome in the summer (not too sure if the last two are POSSIBLE :P). I can dream, can't I? Hahahaha. Will post more soon. For now, I'm gonna have dessert. :D

Yes, sometimes -- cheese is counted, diba? =))
Do you make your own snacks?
Yup, but only sometimes. I make stuff in the microwave (caramel sauce, cream sauce, pressed sandwiches) but only if I'm bored :P If I'm not, the procedure for making my snacks are easier, like sometimes I freeze apple slices and then cut them into chunks, and eat them with Gruyere cheese. Also, I love eating bibingka or puto with big shreds of Kraft cheddar cheese. I keep it simple.
